I'm a Michigan native who loves the Rocky Mountains, Red Wings hockey, and impactful design. I started out my career in advertising, working my way up from an unpaid part-time intern to being an Art Director in only three years. I've had the opportunity to design with agencies, startups, and even a Fortune 200 company – and while that laid the groundwork for my profession, making effective design accessible to small businesses is what I'm most passionate about.
Moving to the Mile High City was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It allowed me to make new friends while growing to love a new city, and eventually meet my husband Brett. These days you can find me working alongside our pet tortoise Tankosaurus Rex, exploring the great state of Colorado, and creating relevant brands and responsive websites for clients all across the United States and Canada.
Just for Kicks
One Woman Band
Unfortunately I never learned how to whistle, but successfully studied the oboe, english horn, alto saxophone, and piano. Go figure. I held the band geek's highest honor of first chair oboist through the middle and high school years – winning countless 1's at band festival and still have the medals to prove it!
Honorary Hogwarts Student
I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd and when I went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida, I cried with excitement.
Je peux parler français!
Growing up in Michigan, I had the choice of studying Spanish or French and I chose the latter. I've still yet to use this bilingual skill since the 10th grade, but ... c'est la vie.
